Today we will not ever, and should not even attempt to be “One Ummah”.
Today there are so many different variations of Islam.
Different variations to the point that some of them are almost an entirely different faith.
And there is only one correct version of all of these.

Well, this was just disgusting.

Sunni’s aren’t necessarily “correct”, did the prophet call himself one or did he call himself a Shia, Sufi, etc? Some of these sects were created from political situations and Islam doesn’t have labels, and even more so, Allah judges however the way he wants to. I don’t think Shiites deserve the title, Ahlul Bidah, nobody does.

I wasn’t planning on saying anything in regards to the above statement but then I changed my mind. The Prophet Muhammad sallah Allaahu alayhi wa sallam never called himself a Sunni but he did say “You must follow my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me. Hold onto it (my Sunnah) and bite onto it with your molars. Beware of the newly invented matters for every bid’ah is misguidance…”Reported by Ibn Aasim in his [Book of Sunnah] Al-Albaanee said: Its isnaad is Saheeh and its narrators, all of them, are trustworthy.

The Sunnah is based on the authentic teachings/practices of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, so what sense would it make for him to call himself a Sunni when it was his way we are all following. All Muslims must follow the sunnah. All Muslims must submit to Allaah and His Messenger, because Allaah said for us to. The Prophet couldn’t call himself Shia because Shi’ism didn’t come until AFTER his death. Sufism didn’t come until AFTER his death. Ahmadiyyah didn’t come until AFTER his death.

So what are all these sects? Innovations into the deen, and what is innovation in Arabic? Bid’ah. So who are they? Ahlul bid’ah. They are the people of innovation because they innovated new matters into the deen. It doesn’t matter if it’s shia, sufi, ahmadiyyah, what have you. It’s evident they all came AFTER the death of the Prophet Muhammad sallah Allaahu alayhi wa sallam. However, HE brought the sunnah. He advised us to hold onto the sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided khalifs.

It’s not about pointing out who’s ‘correct’ and who’s not. It’s about abstaining from falsehood and uniting with what’s true and righteous. Rather than concern ourselves with ‘oh that person is incorrect’, why don’t you abstain from them and their ideologies rather than back them up because the other party isn’t correct either. This is in no way an attack at any individual, but rather a naseeha to all of us. Stop defending people who innovate and people who play with the deen. If the deen means as much to you as you say it does, why are you not defending it rather than the people who play with it. End.

P.s; NO sect was ever created for political reasons. But I am glad that they were ‘created’ is understood and is clear. They came by way of people believing they could get closer to Allaah and His messenger by other means than those prescribed in the Shari’ah. They thought they knew better.
